About

Hi there, my name is Chris and I’m a digital designer and developer. I believe in a collaborative approach. I believe in learning and research. I believe in the sharing and free distribution of ideas.

I’m currently working for the National Archives, London. I specialise in web design and development, WordPress multi-site development at enterprise level and video production for web. I have several years of commercial experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, PHP, JavaScript (jQuery), ActionScript 3.0, GitHub, GitFlow and Agile.

I’m a part-time PhD candidate at Monash University researching User Experience for performance based Collaborative Virtual Environments. My research involves UX processes, which include studying user behaviour, user flow, and prototyping. I have given talks at Bauhaus University, Germany and International Symposium on Electronic Art, Canada, and published a paper titled, ‘Exploring Experience in Networked Spaces‘. In 2005, I completed a Masters in Design Studies at Central St Martins University of the Arts, London.
